ASPMN Research Grant Proposal Guidelines & Application

All applicants for research support should submit a proposal following the process outlined and based on merit review principles. ASPMN® is looking for research to contribute broadly to the mission of ASPMN®: To advance optimal evidence-based nursing care for people experiencing pain. This is accomplished through education, standards, advocacy, and research. The applicant and the institution are required to affirm that satisfactory ethical precautions shall be taken with regard to projects involving human subjects as described in the guidelines.

All applications shall be reviewed by the ASPMN® Grant Review Subcommittee of the Research Committee of the American Society for Pain Management Nursing.

ASPMN® Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) Grant Program Guidelines

ASPMN® now offers grant support for Evidence Based Practice Projects!! ASPMN® wants to support pain management nurses participating in evidence-based projects and the site is now open for submission! These applications should follow the process outlined in the application and is based on merit review principles, incorporating technical aspects of a proposal and its potential to contribute more broadly to the mission of ASPMN®: To advance optimal evidence-based nursing care for persons experiencing pain. This is accomplished through education, standards, advocacy, and research. A description of merit review criteria is described in the application. EBP grant applications must be submitted by the established deadline to be considered for funding. The applicant and the institution are required to affirm that satisfactory ethical precautions will be taken regarding proposals involving human subjects as described in this guideline. All applications will be reviewed by the ASPMN® Grant Review Committee of the Research Committee of ASPMN® according to established criteria.
