Alliance of State Pain Initiatives (ASPI)
The Alliance of State Pain Initiatives (ASPI) is a network of interdisciplinary, state-based organizations dedicated to improving the care of persons with pain. The National Office of the ASPI develops educational, advocacy, and institutional improvement programs and provides resources and guidance to the State Pain Initiatives.
The American Academy of Pain Medicine (AAPM)
AAPM is the medical specialty society representing physicians practicing in the field of Pain Medicine. As a medical specialty society, the Academy is involved in education, training, advocacy, and research in the specialty of Pain Medicine.
American Chronic Pain Association
The ACPA's mission is to facilitate peer support and education for individuals with chronic pain and their families so that these individuals may live more fully in spite of their pain; To raise awareness among the health care community, policy makers, and the public at large about issues of living with chronic pain.
American Pain Society
The American Pain Society is a multidisciplinary community that brings together a diverse group of scientists, clinicians, and other professionals to increase the knowledge of pain and transform public policy and clinical practice to reduce pain-related suffering.
World Wide Headache Information Center
The World Wide Web Headache Information Center offers membership, topics sheets on specific headache conditions and treatments, a list of educational materials for purchases, information about headache support groups and excerpts from the NHF Head Lines, a bi-monthly newsletter.
Cancer Pain Release
Cancer Pain Release is the publication of the World Health Organization global communications program to improve cancer pain control and palliative and supportive care. Cancer Pain Release is dedicated to keeping a worldwide and multidisciplinary audience in the health professions and government abreast of relevant information and developments in clinical medicine, education and policy.

City of Hope Pain and Palliative Care Resource Center
The purpose of the City or Hope Pain/Palliative Care Resource Center (COHPPRC) Web site is to serve as a clearinghouse to disseminate information and resources to assist others in improving the quality of pain management and end of life care. The COHPPRC, established in 1995, is a central source for collecting a variety of materials including pain assessment tools, patient education materials, quality assurance materials, end of life resources, research instruments and other resources.
