​​Regional Education Offerings​​​​​​

Did you know that ASPMN® offers three “road shows” that provide continuing education right in your backyard?

Highly skilled Master faculty will come to your hospital or institution and deliver pre-packaged courses for your staff, each offering continuing education. For a nominal fee of $6,000, you can make one of these educational course available from as few as 10 to 200 or more:

Advanced Pharmacology – 7.75 contact hours (including 7.75 pharmacology hours for APNs)​

Certification Preparation – 7.75 contact hours (including 1.5 pharmacology hours for APNs)

Fundamentals of Pain Management - 8.4 contact hours (including 2.4 pharmacology hours for APNs)

Geriatric – 6.5 contact hours (including 1.5 pharmacology hours for APNs)

ASPMN® Master Faculty

ASPMN® Master Faculty are individuals who have been selected to present the regional educational courses. Parties interested in hosting an ASPMN® course should contact the Executive Office to discuss hosting a course.​ Upon finalization of the contract, the Executive Office will secure two master faculty to present the course. ​


 

ASPMN® Advanced Pharmacology Course

ASPMN® has developed a 7.75 hour CE curriculum (including pharmacology hours for APNs) to educate nurses about Advanced Pharmacology. Six Master Faculty have been identified to present courses based on the curriculum developed by the ASPMN® Advanced Pharmacology Master Faculty.

 

ASPMN® Chapters, as well as Hospitals and Institutions are encouraged to consider presenting this course.

 

The ASPMN® Advanced Pharmacology Course is presented by two highly qualified Master Faculty. Both Master Faculty are available for questions and discussions throughout the day.

ASPMN® Pain Management Certification Preparation Courses™

ASPMN® has made provisions to assist nurses to be prepared to sit for the Pain Management Nursing Certification Exam. Our Master Faculty have been identified to present certification preparation courses based on the curriculum developed by the ASPMN® Certification Review Task Force. ASPMN® Chapters, as well as Hospitals and Institutions are encouraged to consider presenting a review course.

ASPMN® Fundamentals of Pain Pain Management Course
In this course, participants will learn how to improve their knowledge and ability to comprehensively assess pain and provide safe, effective, multimodal pain management.  The course was designed for nurses who need to learn more about pain management.  The course has been approved for 8.4 contact hours (including 2.4 pharmacology hours for APNs)

ASPMN® Geriatric Pain Management Resource Nurse Course

 

ASPMN® has developed a 6.5 hour CE curriculum (including 1.5 pharmacology hours for APNs) to educate nurses about Geriatric Pain Management. Eight Master Faculty have been identified to present courses based on the curriculum developed by the ASPMN® Geriatric Master Faculty. This course was developed through a grant from the Hartford Foundation.

ASPMN® Chapters, as well as Hospitals and Institutions are encouraged to consider presenting this course to improve pain management for older adults.
 

The ASPMN® Geriatric Pain M​anagement Course is a six-hour program presented by two highly qualified Master Faculty. Both Master Faculty are available for questions and discussions throughout the day.
