Now you have the chance to join us. Swedish is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner, Pain Services.

The nurse practitioner is responsible for the primary care, assessment and medical management of patients primarily in the inpatient units but also as needed in the Pain Center. The nurse practitioner also supports and helps to organize the clinical activities of the Anesthesiology Post-Operative Pain Service (POPS) at Swedish under the direction of the Physicians Anesthesia Service POPS Director/Committee. In each case, the nurse practitioner collaborates, communicates and coordinates with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, patients and families.

The successful candidate will have a Master’s degree in Nursing, an advanced degree in a Nurse Practitioner program, an RN license and an ARNP license in the State of Washington (or ability to obtain). This position requires ANA certification as a Nurse Practitioner, a current ACLS certification and DEA number (or the ability to acquire one within 90 days of hire) and a minimum 1-year ARNP and pain management experience.EOE.

We are currently recruiting for a Nurse Practioner to join the Legacy Pain Management Clinic at Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center.  This facility is located in Vancouver Washington and is 20 minutes from downtown Portland.  The ideal candidate will have previous experience and training with chronic pain management.  Program development would also be an asset.

PAIN / PALLIATIVE CARE PROGRAM COORDINATOR
