Chapter Award
The ASPMN Chapter Award, established in 2000 by the American Society for Pain Management Nursing, is presented to an ASPMN chapter in recognition of development and activity for support of pain management nursing. The chapter award is now linked with the submission of the chapter annual reports and will be considered only if this report is active on file.

The ASPMN Pain Management Advocacy Award, established in 2004 by the ASPMN Board of Directors, is presented to an individual or group in recognition of outstanding contributions in promoting awareness of pain and its treatment through local, state, and national advocacy programs, governmental reform, and/or media exposure.

The ASPMN Nurse Exemplar Award in Pain Management of the Older Adult, established in 2005 by the American Society for Pain Management Nursing and the Nurse Competence in Aging Project of the American Nursing Associate, Specialty Nursing Association Partners Grant, is presented to a nurse in recognition of outstanding contribution to the care of older adults with pain. Self nominations are encouraged.
