The goals of the
2008 National Conference are as follows:
- Provide educational sessions to enhance and advance the practitioner’s knowledge and skills in pain management.
- Foster an environment that enhances personal and professional growth.
- Address the multidisciplinary approach to the practice of pain management.
- Discuss strategies to strengthen the position of the professional nurse in pain management in the changing healthcare environment.
- Promote the dissemination of nursing research related to the management of pain.
